The FISITA 2010 World Automotive Congress is jointly organised by GTE (Scientific Society of Mechanical Engineering) and FISITA.
FISITA
FISITA (International Federation of Automotive Engineering Societies) is the world body for automotive engineers. Our members are the national automotive engineering societies in 38 countries. Together we represent over 165,000 automotive engineers working in industry, research, academia and government world-wide.
Founded in Paris in 1948, FISITA is a non-profit educational and scientific organisation dedicated to improving automotive transportation through technology for the benefit of mankind. We are the global voice of the profession.
FISITA works with its member societies and the automotive industry to:

GTE
GTE (Scientific Society of Mechanical Engineering) is a non-profit making professional scientific society, based on social contribution. The professional activity is effected by divisions (e.g. Vehicle Division) organised according to special technical fields. The divisions of the Society promote free exchange of views among professionals and dissemination of the latest developments by organising professional meetings, discussions, and vocational training courses. The Society offers technical expert services and protects the interests of its members.
